Preadolescents

Our licensed counselors, Jason Owenby and David Reed, counsel older adolescents. Our licensed counselor, Kanika Inglett, along with our registered interns, Marissa Carter, Brianna Garrett, and Karen McCain, counsel both adolescents and preadolescents. Our counselors’ training and approaches are rooted primarily in cognitive behavioral therapy. Consequently, a child who has reached the developmental stage where abstract thinking is more firmly established can better benefit from the approaches of our clinicians.
